Introduction calcium L-threonate is white granules, almost odorless, tasteless, soluble in water, soluble in hot water, insoluble in alcohol, ether and chloroform. Melting point is higher than 330 (decomposition), good acid resistance, alkali, strong thermal stability, 120 heating 20min or 200 heating 10min, no change. L-threonic acid, a degradation product of L-ascorbic acid, widely exists in gastric acid and uric acid in plants and human.
